It’s the thing of a Hollywood screenplay and a good one at that. Josh and Emily meeting one another at their high school reunion. Josh and Emily falling for one another. Josh and Emily getting married.
The subsequent wedding was held at the colorful Highland Baptist Church where Emily is Minister to Young Adults. Emily and Josh are both musicians and surrounded by talented friends who performed fabulously in a wonderful and vibrant space full of stained glass lighting and flowers by Highland’s own Ronnie Gilbert. The reception was held at The Henry Clay, an impressive historic building in downtown Louisville with awesome DJ work by Andrew Valentine, video by ICVideo, and a super fun photobooth.
Here is a set of our favorite images from the day. Also, please take a few minutes to watch the slideshow that contains different images. The music for the slideshow, written and recorded by Tall (Mike), is an attempt to fit a part of their wedding theme: “Southern, with a twist.” Enjoy!
