Loyal readers will know that we have ourselves a good time when shooting weddings but we had ourselves an absolute blast at Nicole + Dave’s wedding at the most excellent Scenic View Lodge just outside of Bloomington. Nicole was one of the most accommodating and relaxed people we’ve ever been around at a wedding…and she was the bride! A quick look at Dave’s digs and you’ll know he was a cool customer, too. A member of the Bloomington Hop Jockeys, Dave and pals each brought one homebrew in homemade kegerators to this beer-themed shindig and guests gladly sampled and voted for their favorites! White Orchid brought the blooms, Sugar Daddy’s brought the cupcakes, and Goose The Market brought the meat (2lbs/guest!). When it came to the jams, Dave + Nicole did the smartest thing a couple could do…ask us for advice!! Based on their personalities and what they wanted from the day, we gladly suggested friend-of-the-site, funny man, and amazing musician Kid Kazooey with Lara and Steve to really make this something danceable and fun!
